We take full responsibility from the beginning to the end of the warehousing process — From collecting containers to delivering and offloading them to our safe and secure space.

Ideally situated in Montague Park & Airport Industrial, our warehouse consists of a 3000 m2 open floor space with ample racking capacity as well. Miles Beyond receives and exports containers worldwide. Our expert team handles shipments of high-end furniture and kitchen fittings, which means our service includes fine picking of stock to a great extent.

We believe in holistic solutions. Miles Beyond will manage the entire warehousing process for you, from dealing with imports and customs, collecting and transporting your goods from the port to delivering and offloading them to our warehouse. We ensure safe storage of your goods, after which we facilitate deliveries to clients and showrooms with our very own fleet of trucks and vehicles.

We provide long-term contractual warehousing solutions to our clients, acting as their trusted distribution centre.

Is your stock palletized?

At our facility, we impose a one-time handling fee for both incoming and outgoing shipments, which is calculated based on the CBM (cubic meter) of your stock. This fee covers the cost of various services including the labelling of your stock with a unique barcode, which is then loaded onto our inventory control system, the process of checking in and packing away your stock into designated bays, as well as the process of pulling out and checking out your stock when it leaves our facility.

We would like to remind you that insuring your stock is optional, and you may choose to insure it on your own. As a reminder, there are two types of insurance: total value and replacement value. The total value of your stock is the current market value of the items, whereas the replacement value is the cost to replace them in case of a loss. It is important to note that the replacement value is usually higher than the total value, as it takes into account the cost of replacing the items at current market prices.

This form is for warehouse insurance. Insurance can be complicated, and it is important to us that we make sure you fully understand what you’re covered for. We work with a thorough insurance team, who break things down carefully, as every insurance category, has a different probability rate, meaning they have different premiums for each. This way, we can make sure you’re covered exactly the way you want, without being overcharged for unnecessary things, where not needed.

This insures your stock in the event of a fire or a flood. We advise to insure the full value of your stock/items with us as most of the time, damage can be extensive in these events.

This would generally be a higher premium and often does not need to cover the full value of the items. The reason why one does not typically insure their full value of their items for theft is due to the following: 1. Thieves have limited amount of time to take items before security/response team arrives. 2. Thieves will not be able to take much stock at once due to space of care/vehicle being used or size of stock.

Please note though with this being said, this is still at your full discretion and Miles Beyond cannot be held accountable for any shortfall in insurance therefore it’s all about managing the risk.

N.B: In the event of an insurance claim being made, full storage costs, will still apply.
